Scharbauer Foundation Awards More Than $16 Million During Fall Grant Cycle

Midland, TX – Scharbauer Foundation is excited to announce the grant recipients of the last round of funding from its fall grant cycle.
“This grant cycle is one of the largest in Scharbauer Foundation’s history, and it reflects our deep commitment to strengthening the community we serve,” said Mary Ann Beninati, CEO and President of Scharbauer Foundation. “Each of these recipients embody the innovation, leadership, and dedication we are proud to support, and we look forward to the lasting impact their work will have across Midland.”
Highlights of the 2025 fall grant cycle:
Education - Scharbauer Foundation awarded more than $7.1 million in grants to five
organizations such as:
• Midland County Public Library Foundation – Funding for pilot program to provide
books to all Midland third graders and bring authors to schools.
• Round Up Inc. - Funding the launch of a youth sports league at MISD elementary
campuses.
• Skillpoint Alliance – Funding the expansion of Midland workforce training programs.
Healthcare - Scharbauer Foundation awarded more than $4.1 million in grants to three
organizations, including Hospice of Midland, to fund the purchase of a durable medical equipment van.
Quality of Place - Scharbauer Foundation awarded more than $2.4 million in grants to
seven organizations such as:
• Basin PBS – Funding to sustain education content and activities.
• Midland County Sheriff’s Office – Funding to purchase Mobile
Command/Emergency Operations Center.
Human Services: Scharbauer Foundation approved $2.8 million in grants to
organizations such as:
• Hellinghausen Hope – Funding to purchase and install security cameras and
playground equipment at the affordable housing complex.
• Spectrum of Solutions – Funding to expand the A Street campus and Children’s
Therapy Center and renovate residences.
